Paras Hospital celebrated the International Nurses Day on 15th May 2015. Amity College of Nursing students also participated in various cultural events to mark the birth anniversary of the Lady with the lamp, Ms Florence Nightingale.
The International Nurses Day ideally is celebrated on 12th May every year worldwide. The International Nurses Day Theme for the year 2015 was Force for change- Care Effective, Cost Effective.

The programme Started at 4pm with a warm welcome by the host followed by lamp lighting.
A skit based on the International Nurses day theme was presented by the students of Amity College of Nursing.
Among the other programmes was a Punjabi Dance, a poem and a song by the Paras hospital Nursing Staff. There was a Dance performance by the students of Amity College of Nursing Students followed by Nurses Awards to those Nurses who did remarkably good work during their job.
The Programme ended with a Vote of Thanks by the DNS- Mrs Udita R Joseph followed by a high tea at 5.30 pm.
The programme hosted from Amity College of Nursing was highly appreciated by one and all.
