Guest Lecture on “How to become a good Litigating Lawyer”

Amity Law School and Corporate Resource Center of Amity University Gurugram organized a guest lecture on “How to become a good Litigating Lawyer” delivered by Mr. Rajeev Chopra, Managing Director (Legal), Accenture for India, Philippines, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka on 8th August, 2018 to appraise the law students on the need of corporate in the legal field and also how to become a good litigating lawyer. 

Maj. Gen P K Sharma (Retd), Director, Amity Law School welcomed and introduced Mr. Rajeev Chopra among the audience. Gen. Sharma also shared his personal experience while serving the Indian Army as the Law Officer with the audience. He advised the students to set their goals in life and work hard, with full dedication to achieve the same.  He stressed that hard work; honesty and integrity are key factors for success in life.

In his lecture, Mr. Chopra talked about his personal journey from being a fresh law graduate till his present status, and explained to the law students the nuances of becoming a good Litigating Lawyer.  He said that confidence, articulation, punctuality, dedication and good networking have to be developed to be a successful lawyer, be it Litigation, Advisory or Corporate. He further said that whereas everyone is destined to get his/her due, but we must ensure that we work for it.

The lecture was very informative, interactive and impactful.  It did expose the students to different dimensions in the field of Law.
