The Amity Institute of Advanced Forensic Science Research and Training set up in 2005 has within a short span of time established itself as an Institute of repute. Several serving forensic scientists and medico-legal experts from India and the neighbouring countries have been trained through a series of Workshops organised by the Institute. It also organised two International Symposia in 2006 and 2007 which were attended by scientists from several countries, and published a number of research papers in prestigious journals.
