A Workshop on “Protection of Plant Varieties, Farmers Rights & Creation of Awareness among students, faculty & farmers on Provision of Protection" sponsored by Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India was organized at AUR on 27th May 2015 and was attended by 40 Farmers from the nearby villages and 80 Faculty and Staff Members of the University. Prof.R.R.Hanchinal ,Chairman, Protection of Plant Varieties & Farmer’s Rights Authority, Government of India was the Guest of Honour at the Workshop.
