The workshop on “Positive Parenting: A way to happy childhood” was the first workshop in the series of workshop on “Parenting” proposed by the Amity Institute of Behavioural and Allied Sciences, AIBAS, conducted on 23rd Jan 2019. The venue for the workshop was Faculty Club, Residential Block- C. The participants of the workshop were the parents residing in AUR campus.

The objective of the workshop was to build, improve and enhance the parent-child relationship with the help of positive strategies to handle common issues of discipline, self-esteem, hitting behaviour etc. in children.

OUTCOME OF THE WORKSHOP: -

* Effective parenting tips given in the workshop helped parents to make parenting related decisions with confidence when confronted with difficult situations.

* The workshop was able to instill confidence in parents leading to positive interaction with their children.

* It helped parents increase their levels and quality of interactions with their children as a result they would be better prepared for school and personal success.

* It helped parents stay up-to-date on the newest and most effective parenting techniques.

* Parents learned effective ways to discipline their children.
