The two day International Conference started with inaugural function where the Director, ABS, Prof. Vijay Singh Dahima gave a warm greeting to the audience to the Conference Theme and Agenda, followed by the versatile talks of Honourable Vice Chancellor Shri. S.K. Dubey and the Chief Guest Prof. R.L.Raina. Delegates from academics and industry from different parts of the country and outside were present. Issues were discussed on different business practices, innovation and development perspectives. Research should be people oriented and India  can capitalise on the best demographic dividend that she possesses.

The plenary sessions on Day 1 and Day 2 were an enriching experience with insightful and intellectual talks on management perspectives and governance with eminent speakers and resource persons on the dais. The students were encouraged to ask questions so as to imbibe in more knowledge and varied perspectives. Capacity building innovations and increased startups in the real sector constitute  the need of the hour.

In the technical sessions, research papers were presented from Jordan, Mauritius, Singapore, Mexico and various parts of India. Active discussions were held on governance and innovative practices making it an excellent knowledge sharing platform.

The valedictory function with the Chief Guest Mr.I.C.Srivastava (Retd IAS) , in the presence of all honourable dignitaries, delegates, academicians and students marked a grand ending of ICOMAP 2016. It was indeed a memorable and proud event for each one of us in Amity Business School, and the whole Amity fraternity at large.
