The first national seminar started with the lighting of the lamp by our esteemed guest’s speakers and our honorable dignitaries accompanied with Sarasvati vandana sung by the students. The guests were then welcomed and invited to their seats at the dais after which Mr. Abhishek Kumar , Coordinator-ASH introduced the guests to the University, the seminar its theme and objectives.

Our Honorable Pro VC Prof, S.L Kothari, took the seminar forward with his wise words on India, and its tourism. He very beautifully explained how tourism stood both positive and negative if not handled with care.

Our Chief guest Prof.(Dr.) Ashish Dahiya, Director Hospitality, Maharshidayanand university Rohtak is a renowned speaker and academician who has been continuously contributing towards the field of tourism. He in is lecture rightfully discussed what contributor India is in the world of tourism, and yet so undervalued. He made his session very participative by giving the audience real life examples and by guiding them towards their individual input in making the future prospects of tourism in India bright.

After a tea break where snacks were prepared by the students itself the technical session was carried forward by Mr. Sanjay Gupta, General manger Le meridian Jaipur and Prof. Jagdeep Khanna, Principal IHM Dehradun.

The valedictory session with the chief guest, in the presence of all honorable dignitaries, academicians, corporate professionals, students from both Amity and outside drew the grand ending of our first national seminar, 2016.

The vote of thanks was given by Mr. Praduyman Singh Rathore to chief guest , guest speakers , faculty members and all students of ASH who made this seminar successful .It was a proud and memorable moment the team and students of ASH to have organized and preceded such an event.
