AMITY School of Communication Enhancement and Transformation (ASCENT) facilitated a four-day Pre-placement Training Programme for the final year UG students of ASET, AIB, AIP & PG students of AIIT with the objective of offering the students with the requisite training and a simulation of the placement process (mock drill) due to begin in Noida from September 01, 2017.
On the 24th of August 2017, a mock pre-placement drill was conducted. Students were first given an MCQ written aptitude test which was followed by Group Discussion evaluation. Finally, students were put through technical and HR interview session.
The highlight of the program was Mock Interview session conducted by Industry Experts,who were invited to the campus by CRC, The PI board consisted of Industry experts Mr. Sudipto Joel Haldar Director - Arpan Interactive solutions, Mr. Gurmeet Arora Zonal Head - Vegetal Bioactive Pvt. Ltd. (Biotech., Pharmacy), Mr. Raja Majumdar, Director - Syber Systems, Mr. Raju Soni Co-Founder- GS Forex Services Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Sandeep Gautam North Head- Microsoft Business, Mr. Ajay Kumar Singh Head-Zonal Operations Ingram Micro India, Mr. Ritesh Barman Zonal Head - Abbott India Ltd.(Biotech., Pharmacy), Mr. Ritesh Sharma Head Marketing - Arpan Interactive solutions and faculty members.
Collaborative efforts of ASCENT, CRC, AIIT, ASET, AIB and AIP made this program a grand success.
