DISCIPLINE


Discipline is the essence of Camp life. Discipline in general would imply following the laid down regimen strictly with particular reference to punctuality, correct dress code, response and strict adherence to the laid down instructions and general sense of orderliness and ship shapeness. All participants will observe the following code of conduct :-

  • The Guest House in the Amity Education Valley, residential accommodation of Staff and Villages in the vicinity of the Camp are placed OUT OF BOUNDS for all. Defaulters are liable to be punished.
  • The Camp is being run on the lines of an Army Camp and therefore, strict decorum and discipline will be maintained at all times.
  • Students may bring mobile phones to the Camp but use of mobile phone during training is strictly prohibited. Mobile phones will be left behind in the suit cases/hand bags at the camp during training hours.
  • Students are advised to observe the laid down timings for various activities and events.
  • Students are advised to dress properly within and outside the Camp premises. No one will move in chappals outside the Camp.
  • No one will leave the Camp without permission of the Camp Commandant.
  • There will be no naked light inside the tents and no one will tamper with the electricity connections/points.
  • Smoking within the Camp, is prohibited and no one will carry match boxes and cigarette lighters into the tented accommodation.
  • Ordering food from outside is not permitted.
  • Drinking is strictly prohibited.
Participants will observe the above code of conduct strictly. Disciplinary action will be taken against defaulters.

A list of DO’s and DONT’s is attached as Annexure for strict observance.

UNIFORMS FOR WEAR

All participants will be provided with combat overalls, cap FS, web belt and anklets for the duration of the camp. Participants are required to maintain and look after the uniforms issued to them. Participants will bring their own footwear (sports shoes /jungle shoes /ankle shoes) for the training.


ITEMS TO BE CARRIED TO CAMP

All participants are expected to bring with them the following items:-

  • At least two pairs of Civil clothes.
  • Adequate winter clothing including woolen cap and gloves. (During winters only)
  • Adequate number of under garments and socks.
  • Night Dress
  • Private shoes
  • Bathroom Slippers
  • Blankets (During winters only)
  • Bed Sheets -2
  • Writing material (Pocket note book, pen & pencil)
  • Shaving Kit (for boys)
  • Toiletries as required.
  • Housewife (sewing / stitching kit)
  • Water bottle
  • Torch
