Moot Court is a valuable facility for Law students to hone writing, advocacy and oratory skills. This facility trains budding lawyers and achieves academic excellence by developing spirit of enquiry and critical analysis among Law students.

The Moot Court encourages Law students -

  • To engage with and contemplate about interesting and topical legal issues
  • To enhance advocacy skills, legal research and writing skills
  • To work closely with and learn from their peers
  • To nurture competent and socially-conscious lawyers who shall strive towards dispensation of fair justice to one and all without fear and favour

A wide range of competitions, debates, declamation and other activities are being conducted in the Moot Court to provide training and exposure to the Law students.

This facility also facilitates research studies, help in honing oratory skills of students and Law practitioners in order to provide hands-on training, achieve academic excellence and holistic development of students. The ALS students have represented the institution in numerous national and international Moot Court competitions, Model United Nations, seminars, workshops, conferences, Youth Parliament and brought laurels to the institutions.
