Amity School of Fashion Technology together with Amity School of Fine Arts (ASFA) organized SRIJAN - 2005, three day fest from 26th April, 2005 at Amity Campus, Sector-125.

Chief Guest for the occasion Mr. Rajiv Lochan, Director – National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA) inaugurated Srijan 2005 with the traditional lighting of the Lamp. Lauding the efforts of the students Mr. Lochan said, “We need to understand what Srijan means and what it implies, it is an activity personal in nature and requires great deal of thinking.” He further added that the students of Amity have a lot of potential and if were guided well, they can become a big name in the fashion industry.

The three day fest showcased the creations of the students of ASFT and ASFA. The students displayed their finest of works in paintings, sculptures, garments etc. The final day of the fest was marked by a glittering fashion show, in which students displayed traditional wear, evening gown wear and a beautiful ethnic dresses.

Dr. Ashok Chauhan, Founder President, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF) applauding the brilliant efforts put forward by the students of both the institutions said, “It is a culture at Amity to strive and reach for the top. Currently the institutions are like a workplace for them where they can showcase their creativity.” Dr. Chauhan, while boosting the confidence of the students added that he has complete faith in them.

Ms. Anita Kulkarni, Director- ASFT & ASFA, in her keynote address appraised the gathering about the batch passing this year & informed that the institute is planning to come out with courses in fashion designing and fashion merchandising.
