Behavioral Science Symposium – SOLACE

Amity Institute of Behavioural Health & Allied Sciences (AIBAS) organized one day Behavioral Science Symposium “Solace” at Amity Auditorium, Noida. Symposium was inaugurated by Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh, Scientist – E & Staff Officer to Chief Controller R & D, DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Prof. B.B. Dhar, Senior Vice President, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation and Dr. Sunil Saran, Director, Amity Institute of Biotechnology.

Delivering the key note address Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh said that Solace is nothing but a feeling of emotional comfort which is concerned with the uniqueness of each individual and focuses on the person’s natural tendency toward growth and self actualization.

Dr. Sunil Saran said that staying in touch with ourselves and remaining focused in our actions is not only important for our evolution, but is also a vital need to meet the larger challenges that humanity is facing today. Dr Saran further said that our sense of self is lost in various activities we are engaged in.

Dr. Abha Singh, Director, AIBAS while explaining the objectives of the institute said that AIBAS has a vision to make a difference in each individual’s life by helping them to realize and then unfold their hidden talents and potentials.
