Summer Coaching camp organized by Amity United Football Camp concluded

Amity United Football Club organized the summer coaching camp from June 16- June 30, 2007 at Amity International Schools located in Noida, Saket and Gurgaon to promote football in Delhi and NCR. Taking cue from FIFA directions that soccer is for society, AUFC is taking society in confidence by conducting coaching camps.

During the camp the children were exposed to various skills, tactics and fitness required for the game. There were 18 players at Noida, 25 players at Saket and 22 at Gurgaon. The players were trained by the experts of Amity United Football Club in the morning from 7.00 AM to 9.00 AM at all the three places.

On the concluding day parents and children thronged to the Amity International Schools. The children, who were enrolled in Amity International School, Noida, were given participation certificates, Amity United Football Club’s T- shirts, bags and caps by Ms. Mohina Dar - Principal, AIS, Noida.

Congratulating the students on the completion of the camp, Mrs. Dhar advised the students to continue their practice without any let up to make a mark in the national and international arena. She further declared that seeing the overwhelming response from the society at large Amity United Football Club is planning to conduct such camps round the year on holidays and weekends. The talented players will get a chance to practice with senior club member and if selected for the club, stipend will be provided to them.

Amity United Football Club has been formed on the initiative of Mr. Aseem Chauhan, Additional Director- Ritnand Balved Educational Foundation. The club is just two year old. It has started making mark at national level. The players of AUFC are stationed at Manesar. The players are provided monthly stipend and free boarding and lodging. The training and coaching is provided round the year by the experts. Amity United Football Club has been formed with a vision that Indian Football team should qualify for the world cup.
