The 10 day Amity Cup Media Cricket Tournament to be organised from January 18 at the LDA Stadium promises to be an exciting event. More than 180 journalists from 12 newspapers, electronic media and Doordarshan - AIR would be seen in action
Mr. Aseem Chauhan, Additional President, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation expressed his happiness over Amity association with Lucknow Sports Journalist Association. Coloured dresses would be tried for the first time in a media tournament in the city.
Participanting team include Times of India, Hindustan Times, Indian Express, The Pioneer, Rashtriya Sahara, Jansatta Express, Dainik Jagran, Amar Ujala, Aaj, Rashtriya Swaroop, Swatantra Chetna, Swatantra Bharat, Doordarshan-AIR, Electronic Media XI. Electronic Media XI will picked from Sahara Samay, Zee TV, Aajtak, Star TV, NDTV, ETV, India TV, CNN-IBN.
The Semi-finals of the
Amity Cup Inter Media Cricket Tournament would be played on January 26 and January 27, 2006. Finals would be held on January 28, 2006.
