Preference will only be given only to those candidates who will pursue PhD under the same project under the guidance of Dr. Saikat Dutta in AICCRS, Amity University.

CSIR and UGC NET Fellowship holders are given preference and will be supported as supervisor for a PhD within 3 years timeframe.

Age limit:

35 years (as per Govt. of India/DST instructions)

Appointment and fellowship of the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of DBT Research Grant.

Appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on termination of the research project or if performance of candidate found dissatisfactory to PI. Therefore, only sincere candidate who aims for strong academic career, are encouraged to apply. My research group is engaged in the interface of transformational chemical science by using tools of materials chemistry, electrochemistry, spectroscopic, high-resolution imaging analysis. Therefore, we will give preference to candidates who reflects cross-disciplinary knowledge and transformational chemical science mindset. This project is expected to start from July 2022 and PhD registration will be running around July 2022.

Following capabilities are highly/strictly expected from desired candidate. 1) Electrochemistry and electrochemical process including electrode fabrication/fuel cell fabrication techniques and skills, 2) functional nanomaterials synthesis and electrochemical/fuel cell applications, 3) spectroscopic and microscopic imaging-based nanomaterials characterization, 4) Must pursue PhD under same project, 5) Must take the responsibility of developing my Electrochemical Energy Research Laboratory (a new research facility) under same project, 6) Strong scientific manuscript/document writing and communication skills.
