Amity University Uttar Pradesh (AUUP) was established through “Amity University Uttar Pradesh Ordinance, 2005” passed by the State Legislature and assented by the Governor, notified vide UP Govt. Gazette Notification No. 403/VII-V-I-I(Ka)/I/2005 dated March 24, 2005.
The University functions under the umbrella of the, non - profit, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF) founded in 1986 by Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Chairman of AKC Group of Companies and an educationist, entrepreneur and a visionary.
AUUP operates from three locations in the state of Uttar Pradesh, i.e. Noida, Greater Noida, Lucknow and Dubai.

Amity University Noida (ranked A+ in NAAC ratings with 3.27 CGPA in 2020) has vibrant culture in terms of research, entrepreneurship and academics. We have published over 17000 (Scopus & Web of Science indexed) papers in reputed national and international journals which includes Cell and Nature. We have filed over 1180 patents, commercialized & transferred several technologies. We have dedicated technology incubators with seed funding of over several crores. Our faculty have secured over 300 funded projects. Over 2000 case studies have been developed by our faculty. We have also established NRDC – University Innovation Facilitation Centre (UIFC) and Centre for Excellence for Entrepreneurship Development.
In context of CRDTH, we have several hundred publications and large pool of experienced scientists and faculty members. Out of that pool, we would like to showcase projects which demonstrate our research capabilities, problem solving skills, proficiency in development of new technologies, and capacity to translate the projects into commercially viable products and services.
