Status of Ph.D.: Ongoing

Rahat Zehra has completed B.Sc Geography (Hons) from Jamia Millia Islamia in the year 2011, M.Sc in Earth Remote Sensing & Geo Information Technology in year 2016 from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai Tamil Nadu. She has joined as a PhD Research Scholar in AIGIRS in July 2017. Currently, she is working on “Water pollution in Yamuna river”. She has won Best Paper Award in the “National Conference on Emerging Challenges of Environmental Health, Society and Policies” held at Rajdhani College (Committee of Environment and Related Issues, Rajdhani College in collaboration with Department of Environmental Studies University of Delhi) during 15-16 Feb 2019 and is guided by Prof. (Dr.) Madhulika Singh.


SUNIL KUMAR (skumar53@amity.edu)
Status of Ph.D.: Ongoing

Sunil Kumar has completed M Tech in Geo-informatics in year 2016 from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar. He joined as a JRF/PhD Research Scholar in AIGIRS in 2018. Currently, he is working on “Urban Change & Its Impact On Environment” and is guided by Dr. Swagata Ghosh.


MONIKA RAWAT (rawatmonika011@gmail.com)
Status of Ph.D.: Ongoing

Ms. Monika Rawat has joined as a PhD Research Scholar in AIGIRS in academic year 2017 as a full time scholar. She has completed her undergraduate degree in Geography from DAV (PG) College, Dehradun, Uttarakhand in 2011 and Masters in Geoinformatics from Uttarakhand Open University, Nainital, Uttarakhand in 2013 with a dissertation on “Estimation of Evapotranspiration in Dehradun valley on Watershed Scale using Surface Energy Balance Equation (SEBAL) in Remote sensing and GIS”. Her research work focuses on “Water resources management in rivers of Dehradun valley, Uttarakhand” and is guided by Prof. (Dr.) S. M. Veerabhadrappa.


VIPASHA SHARMA (vipasha2792@gmail.com)
Status of Ph.D.: Ongoing

Vipasha Sharma has completed M Tech in Geo-informatics and Remote Sensing in year 2015 from Banasthali Vidyapith. She joined as a PhD Research Scholar in AIGIRS in 2018. Currently, she is working on “Impact of Air Pollution On Environment” and is guided by Dr. Swagata Ghosh.


MANDVI MISRA (mmisra@amity.edu)
Status of Ph.D.: Ongoing

Mandvi Misra has completed her M.Tech in Remote Sensing in year 2016 from Banasthali Vidyapeeth, Rajasthan. She has joined as PhD scholar (Junior Research Fellow) at AIGIRS in the year 2018. She is working in the area of “Urban remote sensing for smart cities and is guided by Dr. Deepak Kumar.

Status of Ph.D.: Ongoing

Sunita has completed her M.Sc. in Remote Sensing and Geo-informatics from M.D.S. University, Ajmer, Rajasthan. She has joined AIGIRS as Project Research Fellow under the sponsored project from Space Applications Centre (ISRO) and is currently working in the area of Microwave Remote Sensing for Urban studies and is guided by Dr. Deepak Kumar.


Neha Sharma (neha.sharma58@student.amity.edu)
Status of Ph.D.: Ongoing

Neha Sharma completed her M.S. in Geoinformatics in year 2007 from Symbiosis International University, Pune. She has joined as a PhD Research Scholar in AIGIRS in year 2019. Currently, she is working on “Remote Sensing of water quality for Inland and Coastal waters using satellite data” and is guided by Prof. (Dr.) Madhulika Singh and Dr. Anuj Kulshreshtha.
