SAP Next-Gen Research Lab

SAP University Alliance is a global program with more than 2900 member institutions in over 100 countries that aims to shape the future of higher education. The program exposes students and faculty to the latest SAP technologies and integrates SAP software into their teaching by partnering to build technology skills. SAP University Alliances program in collaboration with Amity University has established Next-Gen Research Lab at Amity Institute of Information Technology.

As a member of SAP University Alliance program , We have access to wealth of resources developed in collaboration with faculty, students and SAP partners and customers across the world. SAP would provide faculties access to SAP events, contests and competitions for our students. SAP also provide software access to a couple of Cloud tools like SAP HANA Cloud Platform (Building Applications on Cloud) and SAP Lumira (Visualization Tool to Analyze Big Data) to students to get some excitement among learning SAP. Additionally, students can also learn free online courses from our open SAP platform and also provide hands on learning on SAP systems

The collaborative effort also ensures that the below activities are organized at regular intervals at the dedicated SAP Next-Gen Lab at AIIT.
  • Hackathons where a corporate using/ working on SAP technologies can provide problem statements for students to work out using SAP products
  • Students can work on projects/ problem statements shared by corporates for a longer duration if such problem statements are arrived at
  • SAP will expose students to the topics via the lectures such as on SAP HANA Cloud Platform, SAP S/4HANA - ERP, Analytics, and Design Thinking.
