About C-34

The C-34 is the General Assembly’s dedicated body for reviewing United Nations peacekeeping operations in all their aspects. At AMIMUN 2026, the committee will deliberate on the safety of peacekeepers, sustainable resource allocation, and the cooperation required between troop-contributing countries, host states, and the UN Secretariat.

The Committee provides a unique forum for consultation and exchange of views between the Security Council, the troop and police contributing countries, the financial contributors, and the Secretariat on matters related to peacekeeping operations.
