Participation in diverce activities helps the students in attaining excellece in communication skills, organizing skills, and team management.

At ASB, students are engaged in activities beyond curriculum that are significant for enriching students on an emotional, cognitive, physical, and social level. The enrichment of the curriculum is supported by unwritten, unofficial, and often unintended lessons, values, and perspectives that students learn through these activities and are in alignment with learning outcomes and pedagogic activities. These activities act as a catalyst for the promotion of national integration, coexistence, cultural values, and general health and well-being of the learners. Whether they focus upon sports activities, technical activities, cultural activities, literary activities, and fine arts covering arts, music, and theatre; these activities have vital influence on students’ holistic development. The activities are medium of screening the talents and giftedness among students, nourishing which could contribute towards professional well-being of the students.

Sangathan: Inter Amity Institutions Sports Meet


Every year Amity Campuses across India participate in SANGATHAN - a month long mega event which culminates in the Founder’s Day celebrations, observed in honour of Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President - Amity.
A perfect mélange of over 150 Amity institutions, 17 Amity schools & pre-schools from 15 cities of India as well as students from Amity London, Singapore, New York, California, Dubai & Mauritius campus come to Amity grounds to pay their regards and respect to their Founder President. The unfurling of “Sangathan Flag” marks the beginning of the glittering ceremony followed by an impressive march past by over 5000 students of Amity.
Students compete in 35 different sports and games including badminton, squash, basketball, volleyball, karate, judo, cricket, chess, swimming, tug of war to clinch the much coveted trophies. The students of various institutions also present a colourful cultural programme depicting the different cultures followed in different states of India.

Clubs and Committees:


Apart from academic excellence Amity School of Business promotes the culture of students’ involvement and participation in organizing academic and co-curricular activities. The institute runs a variety of clubs and committee where students showcase their leadership and organizing skills, creativity, knowledge and talent. These student driven clubs and committee are formed in the beginning of every academic year and perform independently under the guidance of a faculty. The major clubs are Environment Club, Music Club, Dramatics Society, Fashion Club, Photography Club, Sports Club, Creativity Club, Choreography Club, Entrepreneurship Cell, Marketing Club, Corporate Relations Cell, Finance Club, and Human Resource Club. The clubs organize activities on a regular basis and also link students to the Central Clubs operating at the University level. The presence of wide range of clubs and committee is a unique feature and works as a significant platform for all-round performance of students at large.

Alumni Meets:


Once an Amitian, always an Amitian. Amitians are in the league of over 1,00,000 successful alumni members working in top organizations across the world. Our pedagogy combined with an active AII gives us an edge in placing our students. The Alumni of ASB have secured placements in prestigious companies. 20 to 25% of the students get placed in companies like Mckinsey, Fidelity, Citibank, E-Value Serve, Pipal Research etc.
Majority of Alumni go for further studies in major Universities and reputed Business Schools in India and abroad.
At ASB, Alumni meet is also organized annually, whereby an effort is made to nurture the relationship between the institute & our alumni and give opportunity to current students to connect and network with them.

ASB students are dynamic, bright, and highly enterprising and are part of winning team, inculcating winning attitude. Along with Clubs & Committee activities and our annual management fest Amity Youth Festival, our students participate in management fests, quiz, study competition, debates, and various other inter-institutional events organized at Christ College Bangalore, CMS Bangalore, Bhartesh College of Business Administration, Belgaum, ICFAI, IIM Ahmedabad, PES Bangalore, SDM Mangalore, India Habitat Centre to name few.

Social Responsibility:


ASB takes pride in the fact that its students, faculty & staff are responsible citizens. During the past year, we have spread AIDS awareness on the World Aids Day, organized a Blood donation camp, street plays on various social causes. A poster making activity titled “Expressions” was also conducted. ASB is one of its kinds to conduct Model United Nation (MUN). MUN is an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about civics, current events, effective communication, globalization and multilateral diplomacy. In standard Model UN, students take on roles as diplomats and participate in a simulated session of an intergovernmental organization
