Amity School of Fashion Technology (ASFT), Amity University Uttar Pradesh organized KREATIV’24- Inter institute Fashion Show on 29th Feb’24 during AYF’24

The theme for the Inter institute Fashion Show this year is ‘Sustainable Fashion’. 24 Teams from various renowned fashion institutes/ universities of India including NIFT Panchkula

Ms. Rupal Chopra, Head-VM & Retail Design Manager, DLF Power & Services Ltd, Ms. Lokesh Sharma, E-Commerce Lead, Drools, Mr. Kunal Ahlawat, HR Manager, Shantnu & Nikhil, ABFRL & Sh Manjit singh Saini, CEO Paramount Instruments Pvt ltd were the Jury members for the event

Dr Joshi also welcomed the eminent Jury members and thanked them for gracing the occasion . He also thanked the Sponsors for the Event- Drools ,Mia by Tanishq, DLF Mall of India, Paramount Instruments Pvt ltd , Lifestyle , Rare Rabbit for their support

Pearl Academy Of Fashion ( Delhi West) Team was the first winner getting Certificates and Cash Prize of Rs 20,000 , followed by UID, GD Goenka University, Haryana bagging second prize comprising of Certificates and Cash Prize of Rs 15,000 and DLUSUPVA, Haryana as the third winning Team getting Certificates and Cash Prize of Rs 10,000 .

The participants, Jury members & guests had all words of appreciation for organizing team for hosting this Inter Institute Fashion Show Competition.

INTERINSTITUTE FASHION DESIGN COMPETITION

The evening of first day of Amity Youth Fest 2017 was bedecked with "KREATIV'17–Inter Institute Fashion Design Show Competition" organized by Amity School of Fashion Technology (ASFT) on the theme "Indian Textiles".


Over 11 Teams from various Institutes and Colleges participated in the Show including Apeejay Institute of Design, Pearl Academy- Noida, Institute Of Home Economics, Learning Institute For Styles & Arts, INIFD- Varanasi ,IMS Design & Innovation Academy, Institute Of Fine Arts,Modinagar , School of Fashion Design -Sharda University, International Institute Of Fashion Design, Gurgaon and Satyam Fashion Institute.

The first Team to walk the ramp was from Satyam Fashion Institute and the models displayed a rich mix of Khadi ,Silk and Brocades in bright huesof Red, Blue, Green and Orange, setting the stage ablaze with the confident gait and appealing attires.


All the teams beautifully entwined various textiles found in India ranging from Batik, Kalamkari, Crepe, Silk, Brocades, Khadi Cotton, Phulkari,KanthaWork, Rabari Thread work, Satin and Georgette with abundant use of "PomPoms" which accentuated the beauty of their outfits. The participants, with their creations, brought alive the richness of Indian textiles associated with various States of India.

The Team from IMS-Design and Innovation Academy presented a very innovative Concept of “From Inorganic to Organic” and the participants sashayed down the ramp indifferent outfits made of Khadi Cotton.

The Teams were adjudged by Ms. Neelam Singh, Founder, Kohinoor Experts Pvt.Ltd.;Ms. Kamal Kapur, MD, Achievers Consulting; Ms Bhavya Goel, Fashion Designer & Founder, AEOMCOUTURE and Ms. Taruni Goyal, Fashion Designers& Founder, SHUBHAM AND TARUNI.

The Team from Apeejay Institute of Design was declared the winner,followed by INIFD- Varanasi and Pearl Academy, Noida respectively and the winners were awarded by Dr. Aseem Chauhan- Chancellor, Amity University Rajasthan, Dr. (Mrs.) B. Shukla- Vice Chancellor, Amity University and Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Joshi- Director General, Amity Directorate Of Applied Arts/ Fine Arts/ Performing Arts And Visual Arts.The Teams were being awarded Gift hampers from eminent fashion Brands.
