
General Rules & Regulations
AMIGLORIA is a celebration of culture, creativity, and artistic expression. To ensure smooth execution and maintain the integrity of the fest, all participants, attendees, and institutions are required to adhere to the following general rules and regulations.
GENERAL GUIDELINES
- Participation is open to all students currently enrolled in recognized universities and institutions.
- All participants must complete the registration process, including submission of the registration form and payment of applicable fees.
- Each institution can send a maximum of two teams per competition.
- Participants must adhere strictly to the time limits specified for their respective events. Exceeding time limits may lead to penalties or disqualification.
- Participants must report to their designated venues at least 30 minutes prior to their slot. Latecomers may not be allowed to participate.
- Any background music, karaoke tracks, or backing audio must be submitted in MP3 format at least 48 hours prior to the event via a USB drive or email as specified by the organizers.
- Prior approval is required for props or additional equipment. Participants must bring their own instruments, costumes, and accessories unless specified otherwise.
DISCIPLINE & CODE OF CONDUCT
- All participants, team members, and attendees must maintain decorum and discipline throughout the event. Any misconduct will lead to strict action.
- Any form of misbehavior, indecent language, inappropriate gestures, vandalism, substance abuse, or aggression will result in immediate disqualification and expulsion from the fest.
- The decisions of the judges and event coordinators will be final and binding. Any argument, protest, or challenge regarding judgments may lead to disqualification.
- Costumes and performances must be appropriate and should not contain any explicit, offensive, or political content. Vulgarity in performances will not be tolerated.
- The use or possession of alcohol, drugs, or any prohibited substances within the university premises will lead to immediate expulsion and, if necessary, legal action.
- Participants must ensure their participation does not interfere with their academic obligations. Institutions must verify that students are permitted to take part.
AUTHORITY & LIABILITIES
- The organizing committee has the right to cancel, modify, or disqualify any participant or team found violating rules or engaging in unethical practices.
- The organizing institution does not hold any liability for any unforeseen circumstances, personal injuries, loss of belongings, or technical failures during the event. Participants are responsible for their safety and belongings.
- The organizers reserve the right to postpone, reschedule, or cancel events due to unavoidable circumstances. Prior notice will be given in such cases.
Submission Format:
- Each event will be judged by an expert panel comprising professionals, industry experts, and faculty members specializing in relevant fields (music, dance, art, literature, etc.).
- The judges will maintain complete impartiality and evaluate performances based solely on the predefined criteria. Any external influence, lobbying, or attempt to manipulate results will lead to immediate disqualification of the participant(s).
- Judging will be conducted based on clearly defined parameters specific to each competition. These criteria will be communicated to participants beforehand.
- Scores will be recorded confidentially, and final results will be disclosed only at the time of the event conclusion.
- The decision of the judging panel is final, binding, and non-contestable. Any attempt to challenge or dispute results may lead to penalization or disqualification.
Disqualification:
- In case of any disputes regarding judging decisions, participants may formally appeal to the Judgment Appeal Committee within 30 minutes of result declaration.
- Appeals must be submitted in writing with valid reasoning and evidence to support the claim.
- The committee will comprise senior faculty members, event coordinators, and an impartial expert.
- The committee's decision after reviewing the appeal will be final and binding, with no further contestation allowed.
- Any inappropriate behavior, undue pressure, or attempts to influence the committee’s decision may lead to immediate disqualification of the participant/team.
