Briefing And Guidelines For The Graduands (Late Comers)

My Dear Amitian,

Welcome to Amity University Campus for your Convocation, please study the following guidelines carefully which will be helpful to you for getting your degree.

1. The reporting time for the Convocation is 9.00 am. Since you are late in arriving for your Convocation (due to any reason), you will be sent to the Main enclosure for Convocation in groups after late registration at L1 Seminar Hall (Old ‘A’ Block)

2. You are advised to move to Gate No. 4 and show your Confirmation Slip for the entry to Amity University Campus. No Graduand and their guests will be allowed to enter the Campus without the Confirmation Slip.
3. Please submit the printout of Confirmation/Registration slip at the Counter in L1 Seminar Hall (Old ‘A’ Block).   Dr. Alpana Kakkar, Dy. Dean – Students Welfare and team of faculty/staff will be available at L1 Seminar Hall (Old ‘A’ Block) to assist you
4. You are required to pay Rs. 500/- Late Registration Charges at the Accounts Counter at L1 Seminar Hall (Old ‘A’ Block).
5. You will be provided refreshment/lunch coupon and convocation I-cards for self and the registered guests. Lunch will be served at the Hospitality Area between 1.30 PM – 2.15 PM. High tea will be served in the evening from 5.00 PM onwards at the Hospitality Area after the Degree Distribution Ceremony. You may use your refreshment/lunch coupon at the hospitality enclosure earmarked for your respective institution.
6. Please take special care of your parents & guests accompanying you for the Convocation.
7. You can collect your Gown from the Gown Counter for Late Comers at L1 Seminar Hall (Old ‘A’ Block) on submission of print out of Online Gown Security Rental form and late fee slip. In case you have paid online for gown purchase you may collect your new gown from the Gown Counter for Late Comers at L1 Seminar Hall (Old ‘A’ Block) on submission of print out of Online Gown Purchase form and late fee slip.
8. You will be allowed to attend the Degree Distribution Ceremony (Part-II) where you will be given your Degree only if you have collected your Gown.
9. After the Degree Distribution Ceremony, you will return the Gown at the Gown Counter of your respective institution in the main ground, if you have taken gown for rental. Refund of security deposit will be processed online within one month (Subject to loss of item, if any) after deduction of Gown Rent of Rs. 100/-.
10. Photographers are available after Degree Distribution Ceremony in the enclosure marked as Photo Booth near the Gown Counter at the Main Convocation Hall. You may get your photograph clicked after making an on the spot payment of Rs.150/- for the same after Degree distribution ceremony. The Photographs will be handed over instantly.
