Amity University, Gurugram Alumni Received Wallace H.Coulter Award
Mr. Shivang Sharma, Alumnus of B.Tech Bio-medical Engineering 2012-2016 batch got campus placement in Medtronic India ( A Fortune 500 Organization head quartered in US) and worked there for 2 years in India office and is currently pursuing his MS in Biomedical Engineering from Groove School of Engineering, City University of New York, New York US.
For his astute performance in research, He has been awarded Wallace H.Coulter Award of Best Research Performance for the year 2018-2019.
Shivang Sharma says “Hard work Pays off as long as you believe in yourself. “Best Medical Engineering Research Performance Award” This means a lot. With result oriented and organized planning efforts anything is possible, all needed is to have faith in yourself and your team. The most important thing that I learned in MS-Bio-Medical Engineering Course work is the important of research in developing a great product and forward to establish it into the market. Also working as Adjunct lecture Senior Design, has helped me in exploring my capabilities to manage team of future engineers. I would like to thank my mentors, professors and parents who have always supported me. This award is a boost to my confidence to achieve success in medical engineering world with an aim to support medical industry.”
