The Department of Medical Laboratory Technology of Amity Medical School, Amity University Gurugram in collaboration with Aarvy Healthcare Superspeciality Hospital Gurugram organised a Free Health Check- up Camp, on 21^st September 2023. The event was coordinated by Dr. Ranjay Kumar Chaudhary, Ms. Meenakshi, Mr. Rajeev Kumar Jha and Dr. Gowhar Rashid.

The event was facilitated by two teams, one from the Optometry Department and the other from the Audiology Speech Pathology Department, offering eye and ear testing facilities to all attendees. A team of 12 individuals from Aarvy Healthcare Superspeciality Hospital Gurugram, including doctors, managers, lab technicians, and technical staff, arrived to initiate the event. The camp provided various services, including free blood testing for blood sugar, eye check-ups and ear testing along with free doctor consultancy, to Amity students, faculty, staff, and the local community. A total of 204 attendees were benefited from this free health camp. A total of 62 students and 9 faculty members participated in the event.

In conclusion, the event benefited both the students and the community, leading to more collaborative activities. Moreover, it played provided hands-on experience to the students, along with playing a crucial role in promoting community health and practical education.
