Amity Medical School and Academic Staff College, Amity University Gurugram in collaboration with IAPEN India Association, Delhi organised an International Workshop on Nutrition, Health and Wellbeing on 3^rd and 4^th October, 2023. The program was coordinated by Dr.Luxita Sharma, HOI, AMS.

Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. P.B. Sharma emphasized the role of nutrition in health and well-being during his speech.

Guest of Honor, Prof. (Dr.) N. R. Dash, President of IAPEN India, Delhi Chapter, focused on the connection between nutrition, health, and well-being. The event also featured plenary sessions by experts in the field of nutrition, health, and well-being, addressing topics such as obesity, immunity, diet, and more.

The second day of the workshop included discussions on manuscript writing, hearing loss, optometry clinical practice, and workshops on topics such as scleral contact lenses and cochlear implants. Speakers covered subjects like nutrition, stress, and the nutrition transition. The event also featured a poster/model presentation and a quiz contest. A total of 244 students and 12 faculty members participated in the event.

In conclusion, the program educated and raised awareness about the critical role of nutrition in health and well-being, and it brought together experts and participants from various fields to discuss and share their experiences. The workshop served as a valuable platform for learning, collaboration, and knowledge exchange in the areas of nutrition and health.
