A National Roundtable on “CSR-Driven Academic–Industry Partnerships for Research, Innovation and Institutional Growth”
A National Roundtable on “CSR-Driven Academic–Industry Partnerships for Research, Innovation and Institutional Growth” was organised by AASC on 10th April 2026. It aimed to create a strategic platform for dialogue and collaboration between academia, industry leaders, and CSR stakeholders. The event sought to explore the role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a catalyst for strengthening academic–industry linkages, promoting joint research and innovation, and enhancing institutional growth.
It further aimed to encourage industry-integrated learning, support student skill development, foster startup and incubation ecosystems, and build sustainable, long-term partnerships that contribute to societal development and a future-ready education system. The roundtable facilitated a shared vision for building long-term, impactful partnerships that extend beyond short-term engagements.
The national roundtable emerged as a significant and forward-looking initiative that successfully brought together key stakeholders to deliberate on the transformative potential of CSR-driven collaborations. The discussions highlighted the importance of aligning academic frameworks with industry needs through practical, skill-based learning and innovation-oriented approaches. Insights shared by academicians and industry experts reinforced the value of early exposure to real-world challenges, creative problem-solving, and the development of a strong research culture within institutions.
