On October 11th, 2022, the Corporate Resource Centre at Amity University Haryana was organized a Guest Lecture session with Mr. Amit Sinha, COO of Richemont India for the students of AID (Fashion Design). Mr. Amit Sinha has made a reputation for himself in the area of luxury fashion design, both domestically and internationally. The session's focus will be "Luxury Brand Management and Scope- Nationally and internationally." This workshop was very valuable for those students looking for career counselling and opportunities in the Fashion Design field on a national and international scale.

The specialist has Over 30 years of expertise in numerous industry areas such as luxury retail, automotive, and geographic information systems (GIS), as well as diverse activities such as business setup, incubation, manufacturing, modernization, quality, technology, lean management, and strategy. He has made significant contributions to corporate success by directing cost-effective operations in economically diversified enterprises and market settings. The foundation was laid with foreign training and 5 months of experience in Japan. Some of my major talents include management of profit center operations, new business creation, business analytics and budgeting, strategy implementation, business expansion, process development and re-engineering, and building and leveraging partnerships.

The major goals of the session were to provide career assistance to students interested in expanding their opportunities in the Fashion Design sector on a national and international scale, as well as to educate students on Entrepreneurship, Brand management, start-up, and Business Planning modules. As an outcome, the students were able to formulate and implement business plans for their own future label, d demonstrate understanding of the nature and practices of branding and brand management, examine the extent of brand management activities in the context of the organization and how it links to other business areas and the Examine the critical problems involved in managing a brand portfolio and making strategic brand decisions. And also to understand the concepts of brand equity, brand identity and image, corporate identity, and branding functions.
