509 Army Base Workshop was organised on 30 September 2025. Observing the processes of repair, calibration, and reclamation highlighted the importance of accuracy, discipline, and innovation in defence technology.
The primary aim of the visit was to provide students with firsthand exposure to the intricate processes involved in the overhaul, maintenance, calibration, and restoration of advanced defence communication and electronic systems. The session sought to deepen understanding of how precision engineering, quality assurance, and technological innovation contribute to operational efficiency and national security within the Indian Army’s technical framework.
