Sanitary Napkin Distribution Donation Drive
Sanitary Napkin Distribution Donation Drive was organised by Saakar - Social Welfare Society of AUH on 10th October 2025. The drive was guided by the belief that small acts of compassion can create meaningful change, while encouraging active community participation and social responsibility among volunteers and stakeholders.
The aim of the Sanitary Napkin Donation Drive, organised by Team Saakar, was to extend compassionate support by providing sanitary napkins to those in need beyond the campus community. Building upon the success of the earlier campus drive, the initiative was undertaken to foster kindness, promote dignity and hygiene, and inspire a strong sense of community care.
The initiative effectively raised awareness about menstrual hygiene and collective responsibility, while offering participants a deep sense of fulfilment derived from contributing to a noble social cause. The drive inspired attendees to engage in future acts of kindness and community service, reinforcing values of empathy, teamwork, and social commitment.
