The Literature Workshop, organized from 07th to 09th November 2025 by Allegories – The Literary Mahasabha was to enhance students’ literary skills while fostering emotional sensitivity, creative expression, and intellectual openness.
Designed as a skill enhancement initiative, the workshop aimed to deepen students’ appreciation of literature and human emotion through reflective learning experiences, including the screening of Dead Poets Society and guided discussions. It sought to encourage collective literary exploration across departments, promote cultural dialogue, and provide a supportive space for students to engage with poetry, drama, and narrative forms through interactive and experiential sessions.
The three-day Literature Workshop was successfully conducted and witnessed active participation from students across multiple departments, creating an atmosphere of collaboration, openness, and shared literary inquiry. Participants explored diverse literary forms and engaged in creative writing exercises such as flash fiction, prose, and spontaneous compositions, complemented by open mic sessions and feedback circles that encouraged dialogue and mutual learning. Interactive activities, including mock distraction exercises and the bottle tap challenge, strengthened students’ stage presence, composure, and adaptability under pressure.
