Food and Clothes Distribution Donation Drive was organised by Sakaar on 15th November 2025. The initiative was guided by the belief that access to food and clothing is a fundamental human right and that collective compassion can bring about meaningful social change.
The primary aim of the Food and Clothes Donation Drive organized by Team Saakar was to provide essential support in the form of nutritious food and basic clothing to individuals and communities in need. Building upon the success of the previous campus-based initiative, the drive was expanded beyond the campus with the intention of reaching a wider and more vulnerable population, thereby amplifying its social impact.
By extending the drive beyond the campus, the team was able to broaden its reach and make a more significant contribution to alleviating hunger and providing basic clothing to underserved communities. The enthusiastic participation of volunteers and donors reflected a strong spirit of social responsibility and collective empathy. The initiative not only addressed immediate material needs but also strengthened the bond between the academic community and society at large.
