A declamation on “Work-life balance shouldn’t just be a concept - it should be a culture” by YUVA
YUVA hosted a declamation competition on 10th November 2025 on the topic “Work-life balance shouldn’t just be a concept – it should be a culture.” The event brought together enthusiastic participants who shared their heartfelt views on how finding balance between work and life is essential in today’s fast-paced world.
The event was inspired by the growing need to talk about mental health and well-being in our work-driven society. We wanted to remind everyone that success has little meaning if it comes at the cost of peace, family, or happiness. The main goal was to encourage students to think deeply about how we can build a culture where personal joy and professional growth go hand in hand.
Everyone left the event with a simple but powerful message — that taking care of ourselves is not selfish; it’s necessary. The talks encouraged both students and judges to rethink how they spend their time, value their health, and support others in doing the same. It was a gentle reminder that when people feel balanced and happy, they perform better, live better, and help build a stronger, more compassionate community.
