Debate on “The Great Indian Constituent Assembly” by Hunkaar
Hunkaar- The Public Speaking and Debating Society organized The Great Indian Constituent Assembly on 13TH November 2025. By simulating the Constituent Assembly, students were encouraged to explore the principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity while developing a nuanced understanding of democratic values.
The Mock Assembly was designed to provide students with an immersive and practical understanding of the democratic processes that shaped the Indian Constitution. The event aimed to create a platform where participants could actively engage with historical debates, ideas, and compromises, thereby deepening their appreciation for India’s constitutional framework.
The Great Indian Constituent Assembly successfully achieved its objectives by providing students with hands-on experience in deliberation, debate, and structured discussion. Through active participation, attendees developed a practical understanding of the processes and challenges involved in framing the Constitution, gaining insights into the historical, political, and social context of independent India.
