Faculty Development Programme cum Short-Term Course on “Synergizing Faculty Efforts to Advance Outcome-Based Education: Integrating Bloom’s Taxonomy for Curriculum Excellence” was organised by Amity Academic Staff College from 24th -28th November 2025. The aim of the Faculty Development Programme (FDP) was to enhance faculty competencies in Outcome-BasASed Education (OBE) implementation, Bloom’s Taxonomy–aligned curriculum design, and accreditation preparedness in line with NBA and NAAC requirements.

Inspired by the reforms envisioned under NEP 2020, the programme sought to strengthen academic quality, improve curriculum–outcome alignment, and build institutional capacity for outcome tracking through assessments, documentation, and data analytics. The FDP also aimed to equip faculty members with the knowledge and tools required for the effective adoption of digital platforms for outcome measurement and continuous quality improvement.

The sessions delivered by a distinguished panel of experts—including Prof. (Dr.) T. G. Sitharam, Chairman, AICTE; Prof. (Dr.) Paras Chawla, Director, ASET & AIIT, AUH; Prof. B. S. Balaji, JNU; Dr. P. S. Aithal, Poornaprajna Institute of Management; Prof. Yukti Sharma, Delhi University; Dr. Meenakshi Sood, NITTTR Chandigarh; Prof. R. K. Dixit, NITTTR Bhopal; Prof. Ramesh Sharma, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi; Mr. Briju Thankachan, EdTech Society; and Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham—provided comprehensive insights into OBE frameworks, curriculum design, assessment strategies, and accreditation processes.

The FDP successfully strengthened faculty understanding of outcome-oriented teaching–learning practices and enhanced readiness for NBA and NAAC accreditation.
