Digital Pedagogical Tools for Blended Learning- A Step-by-Step Approach
Amity University Haryana organized an Expert talk on Digital Pedagogical Tools for Blended Learning- A Step by Step Approach” on 03rd February 2022 by a renowned technologist and Educationist Prof. K. Srinivas, who is Head of ICT & Project Management Unit of National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), Government of India, Ministry of Education (MOE) Institution, New Delhi.
In the welcome address, Dr. Sanjna Vij, Program Director, AASC, AUH, gave an introduction on the program and introduced the audiences to the theme “Digital Pedagogical Tools for Blended Learning: A Step-by-Step Approach”.
Prof Srinivas said that in Blended Mode of Teaching and Learning, the role of a teacher changes, from being just an education provider to a trainer and a guardian. Role of teacher in Blended Learning environment is not limited to the "Sage on the Stage" but S/he becomes Creator, designer, and supporter of teaching-learning environment to enable learners to interact. Teacher’s role is more creative and challenging to design new experiences combining in-class and out-of-class activities using several resources, T-L strategies and digital and non-digital learning materials.
