An Industrial Visit to Parle Biscuits Pvt. Ltd., Neemrana, was organized on 6 February 2026 by the Corporate Resource Centre (CRC), Amity University Haryana. The visit aimed to provide students of Dietetics and Applied Nutrition with practical exposure to large-scale food manufacturing processes, highlighting the integration of innovation, automation, and quality standards in the industry.
The primary aim of the industrial visit was to provide experiential learning by bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world industrial practices. It focused on familiarizing students with modern food manufacturing processes, innovation, automation, and quality assurance standards, while enhancing their professional awareness and motivating them to explore career opportunities in the food processing and nutrition sector.
During the visit, students were guided through various stages of biscuit production, including raw material handling, processing, quality control, packaging, and distribution. The session emphasized the importance of hygiene, food safety standards, and technological advancements in ensuring efficiency and consistency.
