Alumni Insights: From Campus to Counsel & now Academia

The Alumni Interaction Session titled “Charting Corporate Careers: Navigating Law, Life & Success,” organized by Amity Law School, Amity University Haryana, aimed to strengthen alumni–student engagement by creating a meaningful platform for interaction, mentorship, and professional guidance.

The session sought to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice by providing students with valuable insights into corporate law, career development, higher education, and professional growth within the legal field. Through interaction with distinguished alumna Yashika Manchanda, the event aimed to inspire students by highlighting real-world experiences, career pathways, and the importance of balancing academic excellence, professional aspirations, and personal growth. The session also intended to encourage networking, motivation, and knowledge sharing among students and alumni.

The session delivered by Yashika Manchanda provided participants with valuable guidance on corporate careers, legal education, academic opportunities, professional development, and the practical realities of navigating a career in law. Drawing from her own academic and professional journey, the alumna effectively motivated students to approach their careers with dedication, strategic planning, and adaptability.

The interactive format of the session, facilitated through both physical participation and virtual engagement via MS Teams, created a dynamic environment for mentorship, discussion, and exchange of ideas. Students benefited from practical insights related to corporate law, higher education, consulting, and career management while gaining inspiration from the achievements of a successful alumna. The event also strengthened the culture of alumni networking and institutional bonding by fostering meaningful connections between current students and alumni professionals.
