The workshop titled “STARTUP: Legal and Ethical Steps” was organized ALS on 8 May 2026, to enhance legal literacy among students and aspiring entrepreneurs by providing a comprehensive understanding of the legal framework, ethical considerations, and regulatory compliance governing startups in India.
It aimed to offer practical insights into corporate governance, litigation risks, contract management, and legal advisory through expert sessions delivered by Mr. Ayush Gupta, Compliance Manager, Godrej Properties Ltd., and Mr. Kapil Vats, Legal Associate, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas. The workshop also sought to promote integrity, accountability, and responsible entrepreneurship in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16.
The workshop concluded successfully with insightful sessions delivered by Mr. Ayush Gupta and Mr. Kapil Vats, who shared valuable perspectives on legal compliance, corporate governance, ethical decision-making, litigation risks, contract management, and the role of legal advisory in startup ventures. The programme enhanced participants' understanding of the legal and ethical responsibilities associated with entrepreneurship while encouraging them to pursue internships, research, and professional networking to strengthen their career prospects.
