The Corporate Connect Session was organized to provide B.Arch students with practical insights into career development, professional practice, and the evolving architecture industry through an interaction with Ar. Dushyant, an alumnus of the Amity School of Architecture and Planning. It aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice by enhancing students' understanding of industry expectations, project execution, client interactions, communication skills, software proficiency, adaptability, and continuous learning required for a successful career in architecture.
The session provided students with a realistic understanding of career opportunities, industry challenges, project execution, client management, and the importance of balancing creativity with practical constraints. The interactive question-and-answer session enabled students to seek guidance on internships, portfolio development, career planning, and future opportunities, making the programme a valuable platform for strengthening their professional awareness and career preparedness.
