International Experts Talk Series: Talk by Dr Neha- Assistant Professor
The academic engagement organised on 10th November 2025 under the OIA’s International Expert Talk Series was aimed at fostering global academic interaction and enriching experiential learning for students and faculty members. The primary aim of the event was to expose participants to frontier technologies shaping digital business services and to provide insights into international perspectives on innovation, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.
By hosting distinguished delegates from the University of Warwick, UK, the event sought to strengthen international academic ties and promote meaningful exchange of ideas between global institutions. Specifically, the session aimed to equip students and faculty of Amity Business School (ABS) with expert knowledge on emerging trends in digital business service design, particularly the application of augmented reality and immersive technologies. Through the expert address by Dr. Neha Gupta, Assistant Professor in AI in Education and Course Director for AI Leadership (Executive Education) at the Warwick Business Centre, the event aimed to broaden participants’ understanding of global research directions, interdisciplinary applications of AI, and practical innovations relevant to both academia and industry.
Dr. Neha Gupta delivered a highly interactive and thought-provoking talk on “Frontier Technologies in Digital Business Services Design,” with a particular focus on the transformative role of augmented reality in digital services and education. Her live demonstration using the Animal 4D+ app provided participants with hands-on experience of immersive technologies, effectively bridging theoretical concepts with real-world applications. The session enhanced participants’ understanding of how AR and AI-driven tools can improve learning, user engagement, and problem-solving across domains.
