Amity Institute of Behavioral and allied sciences organized guest lecture on Application of Counseling Psychology on 10^th April 2021.

The resource person was Dr.Rashmi Shirmali ( Marriage Counselor & Head of Psychology) and Ms. Abhilasha ( University Counselor) with good experience in their respective field. It was attended by BA Hons Applied Psychology and B.Sc Clinical Psychology Bachelors students of Amity Institute of Behavioral and allied sciences

The objective of this session was to enhance the knowledge of the students in the field of counseling psychology and understand its application in real life. This was part of their course curriculum as well.

The session was very engaging and informative. Different real case scenarios were discussed and student’s doubts and misconceptions about practicing counseling were cleared. Session helped students in gaining  fresh perspectives and insights in the field of counseling . Overall it was very fruitful session.

Total 92 students participated in the session.
