The Department of Dietetics and Applied Nutrition at AUH organized an Alumni Meet on November 11, 2025. As part of the event, a guest lecture was conducted on the topic “Career Opportunities in Nutrition & Dietetics.”
The event, which featured a guest lecture titled “Career Opportunities in Nutrition & Dietetics,” aimed to enhance students’ awareness of diverse career pathways, promote alumni–student engagement, and motivate learners toward entrepreneurship and professional growth in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics. Aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), the program sought to foster mentorship, innovation, and practical understanding of the nutrition and wellness industry.
Mr. Debasrita Banerjee, alumna of the M.Sc. Dietetics & Applied Nutrition program and Assistant Professor at Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim, delivered an insightful and motivating lecture, sharing his professional and entrepreneurial experiences and highlighting multiple career opportunities in Nutrition and Dietetics. The session proved to be informative and inspiring, enabling students to gain clarity regarding required skills, emerging opportunities, and career planning.
