Alumni Talk: Career Insights & Experience Sharing was organised by AICP on 31st January 2025. It aimed to explore avenues for research, internships, and professional development, while strengthening the relevance of clinical psychology education in an evolving mental health landscape.
The aim of the Alumni Meet organized by the Amity Institute of Clinical Psychology, Amity University Gurugram, was to create a dynamic platform for dialogue and collaboration between students and alumni in the field of clinical psychology. The event sought to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and contemporary professional practice by identifying emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities within the mental health sector.
The interaction with Aakansha Verma provided students with valuable insights into the transition from academic learning to clinical practice and highlighted the practical realities of working in the mental health field. Her reflections emphasized the importance of practical exposure, mentorship, and lifelong learning in building a competent and ethical clinical psychology career. The exchange of ideas fostered a collaborative learning environment and reinforced the integration of theoretical foundations with applied clinical practice.
