AMIGREEN has successfully established itself as one of the most active and impactful student clubs at Amity University Haryana. Through environmental initiatives, animal welfare drives, national-level exposure, and strong collaborations, the club continues to inspire youth towards sustainability and social responsibility.
This year, we at SAAKAR did not limit ourselves to organizing events; we actively built a culture of responsibility, empathy, and action. Every initiative we conducted reflected our vision of creating socially aware individuals who are ready to step forward and make a difference. Our work throughout the year stands as a testament to the power of youth when guided by purpose and unity.
From awareness sessions to on-ground donation drives, we ensured that each activity had a measurable impact. We consistently aligned our efforts with key social issues such as mental health, women empowerment, healthcare, and community development, thereby contributing meaningfully to society.
Through our International Youth Day event, we created an environment where ideas flourished and perspectives expanded. We brought together students and speakers to discuss leadership, sustainability, and the role of youth in shaping the future.
We successfully engaged over 60 students and encouraged them to think beyond academics. The event helped students understand real-world challenges and motivated them to actively participate in solving them.
The impact of this initiative was visible in the increased confidence, awareness, and enthusiasm among participants, who left the session inspired to take initiative in their own spheres.
Our multiple sanitary napkin donation drives were not just distribution activities; they were a step toward breaking long-standing societal taboos. We reached various underserved communities and addressed critical issues related to menstrual hygiene.
We ensured that women were not only provided with essential products but were also educated about proper hygiene practices. Through open conversations, we helped reduce stigma and encouraged awareness.
These initiatives created a safe space for discussion and empowered women with the confidence and knowledge needed to manage their health with dignity.
We extended our efforts beyond the campus and directly engaged with communities in need. Our outreach programs were designed to build trust and establish a connection with people from different backgrounds.
Through consistent visits and initiatives, we were able to understand ground realities and tailor our activities accordingly. This helped us ensure that our work was impactful, relevant, and sustainable.
Our presence in these communities contributed to improved awareness, better hygiene practices, and stronger community bonds.
Our food donation drive was one of the most impactful initiatives of the year. We successfully distributed more than 500 food packets along with essential items such as clothes, stationery, and toys.
This initiative aimed to address hunger while also spreading joy and positivity. The smiles we brought to people’s faces reflected the true success of our efforts.
The drive highlighted the importance of collective action and demonstrated how small contributions, when combined, can lead to significant outcomes.
While working for society, we also focused on the growth and development of our team members. Every event served as a learning experience, helping students develop essential skills such as leadership, communication, and teamwork.
Students gained practical exposure by managing events, coordinating with teams, and interacting with diverse groups of people. This not only enhanced their confidence but also prepared them for real-world challenges.
Our initiatives transformed participants into responsible individuals who are capable of leading and contributing effectively.
Throughout the year, we maintained a consistent approach toward achieving our goals. Our initiatives were aligned with social development objectives and contributed to areas such as health, education, and community welfare.
We successfully conducted multiple drives, engaged numerous participants, and created a lasting impact on the communities we served.
Our efforts strengthened the identity of SAAKAR as a proactive and impactful student organization committed to making a difference.
In conclusion, the journey of this year reflects our dedication, teamwork, and commitment to social responsibility. We have not only completed activities but have created meaningful change through our actions.
We continue to strive for greater impact in the future, with the vision of expanding our reach and strengthening our initiatives. SAAKAR stands as a symbol of youth-driven change, and we remain committed to carrying this legacy forward.
During the academic session 2024–25, Club Udaan Mission at Amity University Haryana strengthened its commitment towards social responsibility by consistently working for the welfare and development of underprivileged children. The club did not merely organize events but actively cultivated an ecosystem of empathy, inclusivity, and action. Each initiative reflected a clear intent—to bridge educational gaps, empower young minds, and create a sustainable impact on society.
Throughout the year, Udaan Mission ensured that its activities aligned with key global priorities, particularly the
United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as Quality Education (SDG 4), Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17). This alignment enabled the club to structure its initiatives in a manner that was both impactful and measurable.
At its core, Udaan Mission continued its daily teaching initiative, where volunteers dedicated their time after academic hours to mentor underprivileged children. This consistent engagement played a crucial role in improving the children’s academic understanding, confidence, and overall personality development.
Beyond classroom teaching, the club organized donation drives and interactive sessions to ensure that children had access to essential learning resources. These efforts contributed directly to reducing educational disparities and fostering a culture of learning within underserved communities.
The event “Yaadon Ka Safar” marked the beginning of the session with a strong focus on community participation and resource mobilization. By combining a nostalgic engagement theme with a donation drive, the initiative successfully encouraged students to contribute stationery and art supplies for children.
The event not only fulfilled tangible needs but also instilled a sense of social responsibility among participants. It served as an entry point for increased volunteer engagement and strengthened the culture of giving within the university ecosystem.
Through participation in “Sangathan,” Udaan Mission extended its impact into the domain of physical and emotional well-being. The event provided underprivileged children with an opportunity to engage in structured sports activities within the university campus.
This exposure significantly contributed to their confidence, teamwork, and discipline. The inclusive environment ensured that children felt valued and motivated, reinforcing the importance of equal opportunities and holistic development.
“Bhootverse,” the annual cultural function aligned with Children’s Day, emerged as a platform for creativity, expression, and celebration. The event brought together volunteers, alumni, and children, fostering a strong sense of community and belonging.
Through performances, interactive activities, and resource distribution, the initiative highlighted the importance of nurturing talent alongside academic development. It created an environment where children could confidently showcase their abilities and feel recognized for their potential.
Ulhaas 2.0 stood as the most significant and comprehensive initiative of the academic session, representing the culmination of Udaan Mission’s efforts. Designed as a large-scale engagement platform, the event integrated educational, cultural, and developmental activities into a single impactful experience.
The event witnessed extensive participation from children, volunteers, and the university community. It provided a holistic platform for learning, performance, and recognition, ensuring that every participant experienced a sense of achievement and belonging.
Ulhaas 2.0 not only amplified the reach of Udaan Mission but also reinforced its identity as a structured and impactful social initiative within the university. The event significantly contributed to strengthening community bonds, enhancing volunteer participation, and creating lasting memories for the children.
The event “Hungama” demonstrated the resilience and enthusiasm of the children supported by Udaan Mission. Despite logistical challenges, participants delivered performances in singing, dancing, and mimicry, reflecting their confidence and determination.
This initiative reinforced the role of creative platforms in empowering underprivileged children and emphasized the importance of community support in nurturing talent.
While Udaan Mission focused on societal impact, it simultaneously contributed to the development of its student volunteers. Each initiative served as a practical learning experience, enabling students to develop essential skills such as leadership, communication, teamwork, and event management.
Students gained exposure to real-world challenges, interacted with diverse communities, and learned to design solutions with empathy and efficiency. This dual impact—on both society and students—aligns strongly with the broader objectives of higher education institutions under the NIRF framework.
Throughout the session, Udaan Mission maintained a consistent approach toward achieving meaningful outcomes. Its initiatives contributed to:
Improved access to education for underprivileged children
Enhanced confidence, creativity, and well-being among participants
Strengthened community engagement and volunteerism
Development of socially responsible and skilled student leaders
The club successfully positioned itself as a key contributor to the university’s outreach and social impact initiatives, aligning with institutional goals of inclusivity, sustainability, and excellence.
The journey of Udaan Mission in the academic session 2024–25 reflects a sustained commitment to creating meaningful change. Through structured initiatives, SDG alignment, and impactful events such as Ulhaas 2.0, the club has demonstrated how student-led efforts can contribute significantly to societal development. Moving forward, Udaan Mission aims to expand its reach, strengthen its initiatives, and continue building a future where education and opportunity are accessible to all. The club remains a testament to the power of youth-driven action and its potential to create lasting impact.
