The University is strongly committed to the goal of implementing clean and sustainable energy practices andplaying an impactful role to ensure compliance in terms of Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) as per mandate of United Nations to make universities a living 'laboratory ofsustainability'. The assessment of Amity University Haryana's effort to transform intoa clean and green campus has been duly recognized with the award of LEED Platinum Certificate from US Green Building Council and becomes India's first University and Asia's 2nd to earn such a prestigious honour.The University is relentlessly contributing to transform the campus into a clean and green campus through following measures:

• Research, educational programs and collaborations focused on clean energy practices.
• Green campus initiatives, measuring energy wastes & mitigation plan, energy efficient technology adoption.
• Supporting Government of India in Renewable Energy policy implementation.
• Integrating energy efficiency measures into University's policy framework.
• Promoting energy conservation and energy efficiency through various outreach programs to local and regional community.
