Building Standards to Minimize Water Use

  • Roof tops of all buildings are having proper out-let system of Rain-Water through drainage pipe collected in rain Harvesting Pit for recharging and replenishing of ground water.
  • All over head water tanks are fitted with auto sensors system to avoid any overflow/wastage of water. Refilling of water tanks are through auto system.
  • Low flow plumbing fixtures are used including bathing showers.
  • In most of the buildings of toilets are fitted with Health Faucet to control the use of water.
  • For all buildings recycled water in used for flushing.
  • Sprinkler systems are used for gardening/watering of lounges, grounds to avoid water wastages only recycle water is used for gardening.
  • Re-cycled water is used (through Softening Plant) for cooling tower and civil construction work.
  • Less water requiring Plants are used for plantation on the campus to avoid excess qty of water.
  • Create awareness for water conservation among all staff/students in the campus.
  • Glasses fitted the outside of all the buildings are toughened glasses which protect the buildings from heat and keep cool.
