This Prestigious Award was presented at the 9th New York City Green School Conference 2025 hosted by Green Mentors organized in parallel with the 80th United Nations General Assembly, and convened in partnership with UNESCO-IESALC, UN SDSN, Columbia University Climate School, SDG Academy, and HESI of UN DESA on September 23-24, 2025, at ILR School, Cornell University, 570 Lexington Avenue, 12th Floor, New York City of United States.
The award was received on behalf of AUMP by Ms. Gina Carrara from Amity New York campus.
Green Mentors is a non-government education solution provider organization having special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations. Green Mentors is also a partner of UNESCO’s Greening Education Partnership: Getting every learner climate ready. They have accredited 2000 Green Schools, 200 Green Universities, 50000 Green Teachers, and 20000 School Leaders in more than 40 countries.
The International Green University Award recognizes Amity University Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior for the outstanding commitment and efforts towards environmental sustainability, ecological stewardship, and promoting green practices within the campus and curriculum.
This award not only acknowledges the efforts of the University but also serves as a testament to the collective commitment and collaboration of faculty, staff, students, and other stakeholders.
