“International Webinar on Development of Advanced Materials and their Characterizations”

 Amity School of Engineering & Technology, Amity University Madhya Pradesh organized an “International Webinar on Development of Advanced Materials and their Characterizations” on 15thSeptember 2021

 
Preface
Department of Mechanical Engineering of Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University Gwalior organized an International Webinar on “Development of Advanced Materials and their Characterizations” under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) C.P. Jawahar and Dr. Manvandra Kumar Singh, Department of Mechanical Engineering on 15th September2021. The international webinar was organized on Zoom platform with an objective to discuss the recent trends and advances in the area of advanced materials in engineering with the audience.
Registration and Participation
Approximately 293 participants haregistered for the international webinar out of which 241 did actively participated in the event.
Session: -01:00 PM to 05:30 PM on 15thSeptember 2021
The session was moderated by Dr Manvandra Kumar Singh, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mrs Rinkoo Bhatia, Department of Electronics and Comm. Engg. under the supervision of Prof. (Dr) C. P. Jawahar (HoD, ME). Hon’ble VC Sir had initiated the session by extending formal welcome to all participants and speakers. There after, the technical session started from 01:00PM to 05:30PM. The technical session was followed by the valedictory functions. Dr C.P Jawahar extended his heartiest thanks to all the speakers and participants for making the event a grand success. 
 
In the webinar, all the speakers emphasized their talk on the recent design and development of advanced materials such as Functional Magnetic Oxides, Metal Halide Perovskites and Bio-medical materials along with certain significant phenomena such as structural phase transition pertaining to the advanced materials for the sustainable development of the world which can be taken as the indispensible need of the society in every walk of life. 
 
The talk was followed by question answer session which was taken up by Dr. Manvandra Kumar Singh, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mrs. Rinkoo Bhatia, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The event was supported by Panelists Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Lt. Gen. V.K. Sharma, Pro Vice-chancellor Prof (Dr) M.P. Kaushik, AUMP, Maj Gen (Dr) SC Jain, VSM** (Retd) Director ASET, faculty members and staff of Mechanical Engg. The international webinar was appreciated by all the participants.
