Amity University Madhya Pradesh celebrated Day of Belongingness on 21-22 April 2022.
7th May, the Day of Belongingness marks the celebrations of auspicious birthday of President RBEF & Chancellor AUUP, Dr. Atul Chauhan and to mark this auspicious occasion, at AUMP a series of events are being organized as a part of the celebrations.
On 21 April’22, the students of Amity Institute of Social Sciences presented a mesmerizing dance performance ‘Sangam’, portraying the Bhakti and Sufi traditions which emphasized on the feeling of universal brotherhood and religious tolerance and an environment of mutual love and respect among the different sections of the society.
Addressing the students and faculty on this occasion, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Lt Gen V. K. Sharma stated that today’s youth has the power to unite our nation and spread the message of peace and harmony in the society. Applauding the efforts of the students Hon’ble VC emphasized on the sense of belongingness to our nation, to our families, community and to our university. He further said that National integration is the need of the hour and this was well depicted through the dance performances by the students.
This auspicious occasion was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Lt Gen V K Sharma, AVSM (Retd), Pro Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr) M P Kaushik, Deputy Pro VC, Registrar, Deans, Directors, HoIs, HoDs, Faculty and students of Amity University Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior.
The programme was thoroughly enjoyed and applauded by the audience and culminated with the distribution of certificates to all the participants.
